Happy International Day of Persons With Disabilities!

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ADAPTIVE CLOTHING
Happy International Day of Persons with Disabilities from the Slick Chicks team! We are beyond excited to continue to grow within our diverse community and look forward to furthering our relationships with you all.
Today, Friday December 3rd, marks the 29th anniversary of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Since 1992, the United Nations has observed this day to further efforts for the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society. The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a day meant to encourage and value all individuals in our communities regardless of our visible or invisible differences.
As a society, we must begin to recognize that some of us are given more accessibility than others. Products and services need to be designed in order to account for the abilities of all, not just a select few. This mindset goes hand in hand with efforts of sustainability and inclusivity. In order to support these efforts, we must be willing to contribute directly to them. The simplest way you can do this is to purchase products/services from businesses that value these efforts (like us)!
Today you are able to contribute to the inclusion of society by showing recognition for and participating in the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. By doing this, you are showing your support for a more inclusive planet, regardless of certain characteristics that society may choose to define us by.
